Brian David Bowles (born June 22, 1980) is an American mixed martial artist (MMA). He is the current World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) Bantamweight Champion. So far he is undefeated in his professional MMA career. He holds a notable victory over former long time WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Torres. Bowles is currently ranked by MMAWeekly as the #1 Bantamweight fighter in the world[2] and is ranked as the #10 Pound-for-Pound fighter in the world by Sherdog and fighting-mma.comDominick Rojelio Cruz (born September 3, 1985 in San Diego, California) is an American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He is currently signed as a bantamweight with the WEC. His first fight in the WEC was at featherweight in a title fight against Urijah Faber. He handed Joseph Benavidez his first loss at WEC 42.
Cruz is expected to face Brian Bowles for the WEC Bantamweight Championship on March 6, 2010.
